San Diego Through the Lens
What I learned during this project is how pinhole cameras work, how to make a pinhole camera, and how to develop paper film. I really enjoyed making the pinhole cameras because I thought it was fun and it was interesting to find out how they work. I wouldn’t do anything differently because my final pictures turned out good.

I chose 26 inches for the size of my frame because I just wanted the middle of my ribs to a little above my head to show in the frame. I don’t have any props in my picture because I just want to keep things simple. For my clothes there is no meaning behind what I’m wearing I just felt like wearing that. For my pose I’m just standing normally and for my facial expression I am smiling because I am a happy person.
AB is parallel to DE and I know this because it is given. Angle ACB is congruent to angle ECD and I know this because of the vertical angles. Angle B is congruent to angle D because of alternating interior angles. Triangle ACB is similar to triangle ECB and I know this because it is AA. What I did to find the distance I had to be from my camera was convert 26 inches to milimeters. I got 660 millimeters and then I had to divide that by the size of the film and the size of the film is 24 millimeters and then I got 27.5 millimeters. What I did next was multiply it by 10 and I got 275 millimeters and that was the distance I got, but then I converted that into inches and I got 10.8 inches. The distance I have to stand away from my camera is 10.8 inches.
