You are now more than halfway done with your internship project. How is it going? How did your project(s) go from an idea or inspiration to a final product? Describe the project details → share out the process from beginning to end. What did you learn about yourself through working on the internship project(s)? Discuss challenges, solutions, skills utilized & gained, and overall learning achieved.
There are 8 interns from the high tech system here. 4 of them are making a documentary about a cross walk that is needed. The remaining 4 which is my group is making a documentary on how murals make the neighborhood feel safer and attracts visitors. We are falling a little bit behind with our video because we have to schedule the interview for whatever time and date is good for the person we are interviewing. The rain has also stopped us from going outside and doing B-roll. A problem that we had during this was communication. We didn't communicate with each other that much and half of us didn't know we had an interview until a few hours before it. One cool thing we learned during this project was learning about B-roll and how to properly film at the right settings. I learned a few skills and one of them is not procrastinating and being responsible. We don't get due dates here and it's not structured. Our mentor just gives us work to do and we are responsible for doing them.
